The new Campus Center for Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa is intended to be the focal point of the campus. Collectively the building houses the business, assembly and entertainment functions of the college, and is directly connected to the campus library. The building fronts on a new pedestrian plaza and mall. The exterior of the the building is finished in architectural pre-cast concrete panels and classic red brick. The varied gable roof is finished in mottled gray-green architectural asphalt shingles. The interior features exposed tubular steel structure, coffered ceilings, and wood finished stairways, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Other features of the building include: a three-story multi-use atrium, cafeteria, coffee house, bookstore, student lounge, art gallery, information center, portable performance stage, multi-media projection and sound system, and a bowling alley and game room. Office suites are also provided for various departments including the Office of the President.

The Campus Center was awarded the 2004  American School & University Educational Interiors Showcase award for Outstanding Design.
